Week of September 24

 

¨      STAFF:

GRADES – Progress report grades are due Wednesday, September 26. IF everything goes well, we will send progress reports home on Thursday. If not, they will go home on Monday or Tuesday (due to Grandparents Day events on Friday.) If the backups do not work; please write your grades on the progress report grade sheets. After grades have been entered, please review the print out with completed grades.

 

GRANDPARENTS DAY – Turn in the permission slips to the office as you receive them. All teachers should stay at school until all students have been picked up by their parents.

 

¨       EVERYONE:

PICTURES – School pictures are in! Pictures need to be turned in by Friday, October 5. If you need a “re-take”, turn in the order form with a note to be retaken. If you are not going to place an order, please mark “Y” on the package next to the pose you want for the yearbook. Make checks payable to EVCS.

 

COATS – Union Mission is having a coat drive.  Let’s help out by bringing used or even new coats to donate.  The deadline is October 17th.  See Miss Haddad for more information.

CLOTHING – Wanted: Used children’s clothing to be sent to a soldier in Afghanistan who will distribute them to the local children. See Miss Haddad for more information.

 

HOT LUNCH – Tuesday, 9/25: Cheese/Hamburger, French fries, Dill pickle, Corn, Fruit

                Wednesday, 9/26: Mini corn dogs, Nachos & cheese, Green beans, fruit, & Cooks Surprise!

 

CALENDARS – The Junior Class is selling 2008 calendars for $7.00. They make great Christmas gifts! See a Junior or stop by the school office.
